    1858: 108 parale blue on horizontally laid rose paper, used example in a deep shade, cut to shape but with clear margins all around the design, used on small piece cancelled by bold JASSY / MOLDOVA cds in red (30/9). Two minor thins not detracting from the appearance: it being most unusual for cut round examples to emanate from Jassy. Illustrated in the Heimbüchler Handbook on page 404 (fig. 3).
