    1849 (Jan 1): Cérès 20 c. black on white paper, used example with clear margins all round, used on 1849 cover addressed to "Prince Louis Napoléon, Président de la République, a L'Elysée National, Paris", tied by grid cancellation in black with Attichy despatch cds at right (Aug 29) in black. 'Paris / Franchises' arrival in red of the same day above. The cover creased centrally but to a most unusual addressee.
