    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855 (Oct): 6 d. deep blue, wmk. Large Star, imperforate, a fine four margined example used on 1858 cover to Holborn, London tied in black. Circular 'Paid / Adelaide S.A.' cds in red below (April 3) and London 'Paid' arrival cds (June 12) in red with large handstruck '5' (pence, amount due to Britain for a Liverpool Packet letter). An unusual cover.
