    Ballon Monté No. 65 1871 (Jan 23): Thin envelope to London endorsed 'par Ballon Monté', franked by 1863&67 40 c. orange, tied by Paris Star with 'Paris / Rue D'Antin' datestamp (Jan 23, 1st levée) and framed 'PD' alongside in black. Probably flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Torricelli" with London arrival cds (Jan 27) on reverse. Slight file fold away from adhesive but scarce Maury = € 600.
