    Ballon Monté No. 42 1870 (Dec 11): Cover to Tarbes endorsed 'Par Ballon Monté' franked by Siège 1870 10 c. bistre pair, tied by Paris Star 6 with 'Paris / Senat' datestamp (Dec 11, 6th levée) alongside in black. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Ville-De-Paris" without backstamp (captureds on the day of the Flight by the Prussians) and restored at top and one flap missing but scarce. Signed Calves Maury = € 650.
