    Ballon Monté No. 33 1870 (Nov 23): Gazette Des Absents form used as entire letter to Lyon endorsed 'par Ballon Monté', stampless with two surrounding strikes of 'P.P.' in black and 'Paris / Rue des V. Haudrtes.' datestamp (Nov 23, 7th levée) alongside. Carried on the ill-fated Ballon "La Ville d'Orleans" which landed after a 23½ hour flight in Norway. Reverse with eventual 'Lyon' arrival cds /Dec 23) in black. A fresh and fine entire. Signed Baudot Maury = € 700++.
