    Ballon Monté No. 25 1870: Entire written to London, franked by 1867 Napoleon laureated 10 c. bistre and 20 c. blue, tied by Paris Star '3' with "PARIS PL. DE LA MADELEINE 4 NOV. 70" despatch cds, framed PD in red, and London arrival cds in red (Nov 10) alongside, reverse with TPO Paris - Calais cds (Nov 9). This item was flown from besieged Paris on the 25th Ballon 'Ville de Chateaudun'. Cert. Roumet (2016) Maury = € 600+.
