    Ballon Monté No. 24 1870 (Nov 2): Entire letter to Courtalai, franked by 1863/67 20 c. blue, somewhat aged, tied by Paris Star 4 with 'Paris / Rue d'Enghien' datestamp (Nov 2, 1st levée) alongside in black. Flown from beseiged Paris on the Ballon "Le Gallilée" without backstamp as the Ballon was captured by the Prussian forces. Faults but interesting content regarding the Mails via St. Denis Maury = € 600.
