    Ballon Monté No. 22 1870: Tiny envelope with full content written to Angouleme, franked by 1867 Napoleon laureated 20 c. blue, tied by '241' gros chiffre with "PARIS AUTEUIL 1 NOV. 70" despatch cds alongside, reverse with arrival cds (Nov 3). This item was flown from besieged Paris on the 22nd Ballon 'Fulton', nice cover from a banlieue post office. Maury = € 625.
