    1868: 1 d. green, single examples on covers (2) to Bordeaux, France, the earlier cover mailed in September 1870 from Lima via London (Oct 31) and struck with 'GB / 1F 90c.' accountancy marking charged '12' décimes due; second cover mailed in August 1871 by the same routing with the same cancellations, but the rate had risen in September 1871 and thus the second cover received a '15' décime charge marking in black. A fine pairing.
