    1849: Cérès 1 fr. carmine, a fine example with vivid colour and large regular margins all round, tied by mute Paris Star to large format envelope with "PARIS 4 OCT 53" cds alongside, sent to Issoudun, reverse with 'COMPie DU SOLEIL ASSURANCES' cachet in blue and arrival cds in black (Oct 5). Vertical central fold but an appealing item, representing the heavy weight rate up to 100 gr. Cert. Roumet (2017) Maury = € 1'750/Yvert = € 1'600.
