1850 (Sept): 2 d. ultramarine, Plate III, positions 1-2/13, the famous 'L' shaped unused multiple, showing full sheet margin at left and with full margins on all sides, trivial scissor cut affecting position 1 at lower right, in a greyish-violet hue from the full original browned gum which is somewhat thick in places, minor creasing as to be expected, however a wonderful and philatelically important piece, being the sole recorded unused multiple from Plate III.
