    1855: Cover from Pelotas to Paris franked on reverse with 1850 60 r. black in a horizontal pair tied by circular CORREIO / PELOTAS datestamp and British P.O. RIO JANEIRO datestamp (Aug 13) in black. Carried on the 'Great Western' with London transit (Sept 14) in red and struck there with framed 'COLONIES / &c. ART.13' in red. Charged '15' décimes due upon receipt in Paris. Flaps missing but a scarce usage.
