    1806: Heavy cover from Munich to Paris, rated '39' in manuscript to pay on front, struck with superb strike of 'No. 26 / GRANDE ARMÉE' handstamp in black. Reverse with Paris arrival in red (Aug 9). Some minor imperfections and light soiling but scarce so fine Reinhardt = 500 pts.rn.
