    Mail from Italian States to Greece 1865: Cover from Rome to Athens, Greece endorsed 'via di mare' franked by 1852 7 b. black on blue (3 examples) all tied by grill handstamp in black, with Rome despatch cds (Jan 14) at right. Carried by the French Paquebot ''Quirinal' to Messina and trans-shipped there to the 'Sinai'. Charged with 1862/67 20 l. blue tied by Athens datestamp (Jan 15, julian) in black. An exceptionally attractive and rare entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 62.
