    Mail from France to Greece 1869: Entire letter sent unpaid from Paris to Athens, struck with 'Paris' despatch cds (May 20) and with large '90 LEP' due marking in black (Van der Linden fig. 3338), carried on the Ligne U Paquebot 'Menzaleh' and taxed accordingly on arrival with 1862/67 5 l. bright green on greenish (2) and 40 l. mauve on blue (2) tied by Athens cds's (May 15, julian) in black. Some minor bends but a most attractive and rare entire. Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 101.
