    Part paid Mail from Egyptian Territorial Office to Greece 1871: Entire letter written from Volo to Syros, slitted for disinfection, franked by Egypt 1867 1 pi. red (Gi. 14) tied by rare V. R. POSTE EGIZIANE / VOLO datestamp (Oct 21) in black with repeated information strike alongside. The Egyptian I piastre 'Port to Port' rate not valid to a non Egyptian Office and taxed on arrival at Greek internal rate of 20 lepta (manuscript '20' in red) with 1870/71 20 l. blue tied by 'Syros' cds (Oct 10, julian).
