    Mexico 1852: Présidence 25 c. blue in a vertical pair, lower stamp touched, used in combination with 1853 1 fr. carmine in a spectacular horizontal strip of four with large margins all round and showing the marginal rule from top of sheet (filet d'encadrement) on 1852 entire letter at triple rate from Paris to Vera Cruz, cancelled by DS2 lozenge of dots in black with Paris despatch cds above (Oct 31). Framed PD in red and London transit (Nov 1) in red and handstruck '3' (reales) due marking in black of arrival. A fantastic and famous entire, illustrated on the front cover of the Dubus sale.
