    Brazil 1853: 10 c. bistre, 20 c. deep blue, 40 c. orange and 80 c. carmine, fine examples all used on 1855 entire letter at single rate to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil endorsed 'par Steamer Anglais Great Western' and tied by 1495 petit chiffres with 'Bureau Maritime / Havre' cds alongside in red (July 7). Framed P.P. in red below and London transit cds (July 9) in red on front, with Southampton transit cds on reverse in blue. Curved FOREIGN PAID also on obverse of a fine and extremely scarce four colour franking. Signed Calves. Cert. Roumet (1992).
