    1937 (Jan 25): First Flight registered cover to France franked by very scarce 1937 'Roland Garros' Airmail 50 c. red in a superb block of four, neatly cancelled by 'Saint Denis / Reunion' cds (Jan 25), repeated strike alongside with "Premiére liason aèropostale / Réunion-France / sans surtaxe / Equipage: Laurent-Touge-Lénier" Flight cachet in black below. Reverse with Paris (Feb 12) arrival cds. Some imperfections to envelope but a very rare cover. Cert. Calves (1987) Maury/Yvert = € 1'200 off cover.
