    Ballon Monté 1870: Tiny entire letter franked by 1867 Laureated 20 c. blue tied by Paris Star obliterator and by 'Bl. Voltaire' cds (Dec. 27, 5th levée). Flown from beseiged Paris on rare 52nd Ballon 'Le Bayard' with reverse showing Chalons-S-Saone arrival datestamp (Jan. 6, 1871). Fine and scarce entire in superb condition. Signed A. Diena.

    Ballon monté Le Bayard 20 c. bleu lauré oblit. étoile de Paris sur mini lettre avec cachet Paris Bd Voltaire (27 déc.70) pour Chalon sur Saône avec cachet d'arrivée (6 janv. 71). Superbe.
