    Ballon Monté 1870: Entire letter written in English to Chelmsford, franked by 1867 30 c. brown tied by Paris Star-9 with 'Rue Montaigne cds (Nov. 13 - 4th levée) datestamp at left. The small folded entire flown from beseiged Paris on the 30th Ballon 'Général Ulrich' with reverse showing 'Chelmsford' arrival cds (Nov. 26). A few small faults and cuts to the letter-sheet but scarce. Cert. A. Schneider (1994).
