    1817 (April 12): Entire letter with printed "Garde Royale Suisse, Regiment d'Affry, 8me. d'Infanterie", written from Paris to Lausanne and endorsed "Service Militarire" at top, counter-signed by the Colonel of the Regiment at lower left with triangular "P" (Paris) in red and also struck with circular "RÉGIMENT D'AFFRY / GARDE ROYAL SUISSE" illustrated cachet in black. A fine and appealing entire.
