    1780 (Dec 10): Unpaid entire letter from a Swiss soldier garrisoned on Ile de Rhé to Chenevez, Switzerland with manuscript on reverse "Refusé la la presente le 6 Janvier 1780" and returned with transit handstamp of straight line "BELFORT" in black. A most unusual entire.
