    1763 (Oct 27): Entire letter from Arnhem addressed to Zuoz, endorsed at top "Par Cologne, F.fort & Lindau", from Colonel Schmid with manuscript at base "Recommandée à Monsieur le Chancellier Planta à Coire, Rep. des Grisons" with superb strike of rare "ARNHEM / B." handstamp in black (Van Der Linden fig. 210) and manuscript rates"12" (kreuzers, for travel to Cologne, deleted), "36" (kreuzer for double weight letter as far as Lindau) and "40" (kreuzer, to be paid on arrrival in Chur). A fine and very rare entire, just four covers recorded with this Arnhem marking.
