    1878: Cover front franked by 1858 1 d. red pl. 174, used from Blackpool (Aug 29) to Nottingham, with superb hand-painted election scene: 'Vote for Frank-he's up to Snuff' and 'Vote for Spybey ye Cricket Historian' with potential MP's being assaulted by crowd. A superb and scarce piece.
