Mauritius 1859: Lapirot 2 d. blue on blued paper, early worn Impression, a fine used horizontal pair, positions 1-2 on the sheet of twelve subjects; with huge margins all round and cancelled by dumb obliterators in black. Slightest paper thin at top aligned with previous hinge and trace of a diagonal ironed bend and inclusion in 'Pence' on left stamp, none of these being apparent on face.
