1871: Hungary Engraved 15 kr. blackish brown, somewhat toned example near to the copper red shade, used on 1875 entire letter from Bosnia to Trieste tied by 'Brcko' cds (May 16) in black with circular registration cachet at left. Reverse with 'Osiek-Essek' transit cds (May 18) and oval Triest arrival datestamp.

1888: Reclamation / Search form issued by the Hungarian Post Office in 'Pakrac' with datestamp at top (Feb 16, 1888), the form franked on front with Hungary 10 k. blue tied by same cds, with further datestamps at base including framed K.K.MILIT POST XVIII / D. TUZLA (Feb 18), returned to 'Pakrac' (Feb 22), sent again and struck with BARCS cds (Feb 25) on the inside; further datestamps verso with 'Nagy-Kanizsa' (Feb 27), 'Osiek (March 3), oval framed 'Magy. Kir. Mozgoposták / Fönökségé / Nagy-Kanizsa Vasp.' (undated in violet), 'Eszék / Felsc Város / Osiek' (March 18). A few imperfections but a remarkable and scarce piece.

1893/95: 20 kr. green used on reverse of 1893 54 kr. red postal stationery envelope sent registered to Belgium, neatly tied by SARAJEVO Military Post cds in black (March 6) and with 'Liege' and 'Spa' datestamps of arrival (March 10) alongside. A fine and scarce early usage of this adhesive on letter.

Yellow registration label on front and reverse with Stettin arrival cds (March 31). A charming and colourful cover.

Insignificant central file fold not detracting from the fine and colourful appearance of a scarce cover.

1916: Postcard sent stampless to Budapest struck with fair strike of NEUM datestamp, serial 'a', (March 2) struck in green ink (Austrian Levant, Tchilinghirian fig. 652). Censor cachet in violet at left. Whilst technically not a 'Austria used abroad' at this date, the cancellation from this small port remains very elusive.
