Opens well for display, a scarce usage.
1859/62: Coarse impression ½ r. orange, a fine example used on 1863 entire letter from La Guaira to Caracas, tied by bold CORREOS / LA GUAIRA cds in blue (March 30). Opinion Holcombe (1993).
1903 (Oct 31): Postcard sent registered to France franked by overprinted 1900 1 b. black used from Caracas with red registration label below, via New York (Nov 24) with transit registration label, thence to St. Die in France (Dec 4). An unusual usage.
