    1891: Mombasa Provisional "½ Anna" handstamped in violet on 1891 2 a. vermilion, initialled "A.D." in manuscript at base (Andrew Dick, Chief Accountant of the British East Africa Co.), cancelled lightly in black. A very rare stamp. Cert. BPA (2009) Gi = £ 950.

    1895: Chambers cover to Mombasa franked by 1895 overprinted ½ a. blue green, 1 a. plum, 2 a. blue and 2 a. 6 p. yellow green all individually tied by 'Mombasa' squared circle datestamps (Nov 12) with same day arrival cds on reverse. Scarce issue on letter. Signed Sorani.

'Specimen'. Condition obviously variable but most fine, an excellent collection.
