Lots & Collections 1853/64: Group 12 Cape triangles used in mixed quality incl. 1853 4d. on blued paper, 1855/63 up to 1 s. yellow-green, 1861 Woodblocks 1 d. vermillion & 4 d. milky blue, and 1863 4 d. deep blue. An interesting ensemble to be studied.
1853/63: Group 52 triangulars, incl. 1 d. (24), 4 d. (12), 6 d. (10), and 1/- (6), mostly clean and fresh, about one dozen with three neatly cut margins, a good range of printings and shades. Gi = £ 15'000 following the consignor.
