1858 (July 7): Eightfold rate cover from Constantinople to Paris, bearing five examples of 1854 Napolèon imperforated 80 c. carmine with overall fair to good margins (two defective), bearing indistinct Anchor grill with boxed PD, ship's CARMEL cds and boxed "PAQUEBOTS DE LA MEDITARRANÉE" handstamp in red alongside. Reverse with MARSEILLE transit and PARIS arrival (July 15) cds's.
