"Bilgas-Minshat Ragheb", Dumiat-Izbet El Burg", Mellawi-Tanda", "Shibin el Kom-Bakhati" and too many others to mention individually, showing the different types of cancellations in black or in blue, covering the East and West Delta regions, together with Upper and Lower Egypt, the two collections complimenting each other, both formed by a knowledgeable collector, accompanied by the Mike Murphy & Ibrahim Shoukry "Egypt Rural Service" handbook.

    Airmails 1933/46: Group of six envelopes and one card, incl. 1933 commercially used air cover from India sent via 'Caire par Avion' to Sudan, 1939 envelope with black 'JUSQU'A h.s. to Teheran, 1944 registered envelope from Inauguration Flight Damascus - Le Caire (June 29th), first day usage of 25 Mm Air Letter (Dec.20.1944), 1944 F.P.O. letter to Ismailia with instructional h.s. 'Please inform Sender Air Mail Service Not Available' in red as well as printed first flight envelope of 1946 B.O.A.C Speedbird Route (Aug. 24) to Hong Kong together with later postcard from "Heliopolis 22.FE.48" to London.

Hotels: Cataract, Cecil, Continental Savoy, Eden Palace Hotel, Ghezireh Palace, Grand Continental, Heliopolis Palace, Luxor Hotel, Mena House Hotel, Nile Hilton, San Stefano, Semiramis, Shepheards Hotel, Winter Palace etc., some with Hotel cancels and some on Hotel stationery, with 1894 Mena House usage to Gemany, 1904 incoming ard from Germany redirected to Cataract Hotel; 1927 registered Continental Savoy cover to India, five registered covers from Shepheards Hotel, three registered covers from the Winter Palace Hotel, a generally fine and most interesting collection.

    1935/43: Covers (3) with 1935 cover sent Registered/ Insured to Rotterdam from Port said with red Value Declared label and franked on reverse by 1927 1 m., 40 m. and 50 m. mailed via Naples at unusual 91 m. rate; 1942 cover from Alexandria to Mombasa franked by 1937 Boy King 2 m. and 15 m., returned with KUT 20 c. black & orange tied by mombasa cds; and 1943 cover from Egypt to London franked by Sudan 5 m. (3) and 15 m. (2) with Egypt 1937/44 40 m. and 40 m. mailed to London and forwarded on to Banbury. An unusual trio.

Pioneering Aviation flight, cover from Alexandria, Egypt to Basra City (now Iraq), dated 1st August 1923, franked with horizontal pair 20 m., tied by Alexandria datestamp in black, sent at 40 mils. for 20 gms. rate (15 mils. surface rate and 25 mils. air fee), endorsed 'air mail' and with cachet 'air mail' alongside, to reverse Baghdad transit dated 4th August 1923 and Basra arrival 6th August, scarce example.

    1932/1940, Egypt air mail study, comprising eight covers, including two crash/wreck mail items with "Damaged by Sea Water" cachets, one from the 1937 "Cygnus" flying boat incident at Brindisi, also noted 1936 First Flight Alexandria to Brindisi carried by "Canopus" and test letter from Alexandria to London with typed endorsement; "RMA Capella 1st Flight 2-day Westbound Schedule Alexandria/Southampton 27th Feb 1937", frankings mostly air mail stamps although some in combination with King Fuad I and one cover with Farouk I issues with an air mail adhesive, also includes a censor mail cover from British Army Post Office in Egypt to Ireland, sent at the special forces rate of 40 m., neatly mounted and described upon exhibition pages, a scarce assembly.
