Courier Issue 1853/54: Courier 4 d. blue, imperforate on medium soft yellowish paper, an unused example with close margins all round, variety "Partial Double Impression", especially noticeable on VAN DIEMAN'S LAND, slight thins and tiny tear at top, an early impression with lines clear and sharp with the variety probably caused by a shift on the plate, a rare variety (Ceremuga states "the first example known to me"), unused without gum.
