    Stamp Duty Series 1884/96: Lithographed £ 8 brownish-red on yellowish, wmk. first V over Crown upright, perf. 12½, an unused example, well centred and of rich colour, horizontally overprinted by italic "Specimen." in black, one corner perf. blunted and small gum bends, part og. Just 2'000 printed and most were fiscally used. Extremely rare. Ceremuga states "currently only two or three examples this type recorded". Cert. Ceremuga (2011).
