1929 (March 28) Airmail cover for first Flight London Croydon - Baghdad, franked by London EC1 Meter Marks 1 d. + 6 d. red, addressed to Captain Singe in Baghdad and Pilot signed by "A.S. Wilcockson" in ink. Reverse with Baghdad cds (April 5) of arrival. Very scarce with the Meter franking
1958/1995: Collection of the "Republic of Irak", on stockcards, with mainly full og, including a number of varieties such as the 1998 'Victory' inverted overprint in upper-marginal pair. Several hundred stamps in predominantly fine quality.
1919/1990ca.: Arabic states, about 74 covers, mostly addressed to Switzerland, the main part Iraq and Saudi Arabia as well as some Bahrain and Kuwait, one from Qatar, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon. Some are censored, some airpost.
