'Kingston / Jamaica' transit adjacent (Dec 7) and 'Turks Islands' arrival cds 10 Jan, 1908). The card is written by George Hirst, Cayman Islands Commissioner with a Christmas message for H.H. Hutchings who was to succeed Mr. Hirst in 1912 as Acting Commissioner. Roughly opened at top which is strange as Bright was a stamp dealer, and slight edge wear to envelope; reverse with 'Kingston / Jamaica' transit cds (Dec 17) and London arrival (1 Jan, 1908). Reverse also shows manuscript of former owner 'R.E.R. Dalwick'. File fold away from the fine adhesive, a very rare cover. Cert. RPSL (1978).
