1767/1770c.: Entire letter, sadly undated, from Cadiz to Buenos Ayres struck with superb strikes of condensed "ESPÑA" handstamp and "3. DE PLATA" both in red; mailed between members of the Basabilbaso family, Manuel Basabilbaso became the Administrator of the 'Correo Maritimo' in Buenos Ayres in 1766. Fair strike of framed "F.48" Prussian Convention Accountancy marking in black (Salles 3188, Van Der Linden fig. 1184) applied in Paris. Reverse with Aachen transit cds in blue (March 21) and Essen arrival cds in black and rated '8' in manuscript to pay.
