    Issues of the Republic 1859 (June 26): Selection three used choice Thin numerals adhesives with 80 c. orange, tied to small piece by complete oval framed 'Montevideo' datestamp in red, dated 4 July 1859, just four days after adhesive stamp usage became compulsory. Also 100 c. brown lake in a rich shade and 240 c. vermilion, cancelled on July 4 & 7, 1859 by oval framed 'Montevideo' datestamp in red.
