    ROPiT 1866: 10 pa. rose & blue, a used example with ample to large margins all round, cancelled by oval framed COMPAGNIE RUSSE / KERRASUNDE / DE NAVIG. & DE COMMERCE cachet (Tchilinghirian fig. 107 = 'Very rare') in black. Minor imperfections but an extremely rare cancellation: used on mail posted on board Ropit ships arriving in Kerassunde. Cert.     ROPiT 1868 (March 10): Inscribed ROPiT 10 pa. rose & blue, a used example with large margins all round tied to entire letter written in arabic, by dotted lozenge of the Constantinople Office (Tchilinghirian fig. 6) struck in blue. The entire would benefit by being refolded at base where scoured by old hinge mark. An extremely rare usage.rnProvenance: Collection 'Pavlovsk', Corinphila sale 92, 5 March 1996, lot 4834.

    ROPiT 1876: '8' surcharged in blue-black on 10 kop. carmine & green on horizontally laid paper, a used example on 1878 second page of entire letter written in Armenian from Constantinople to Taganrog, neatly tied by KONSTANTIN circular datestamp (May 4) in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 12) with Taganrog arrival cds (May 9) in black alongside. A very rare stamp on letter.

    ROPiT 1900: Registration receipt form in cyrillic on obverse and French on reverse, somewhat toned buit with a superb strike of oval framed "ROPiT / AGENCY JAFFA" handstamp ((Oct 23) in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 238). Scarce.

    1858/98: The selection with 1858 front with COMPAGNIE RUSSE / SMYRNE cachet in black, 1866 10 p.a rose & blue, a block of four used on piece with sadly unclear cancellation, 1866 20 pa. blue & rose used with dotted '781' of Mersina, further example on piece cancelled '782' numeral with France 1863 409 c. adjacent; 1879 thin '7' overprint on 10 k. rose & green used (cert. APS 1990), 1897 cover with 10 k. carmine & green tied by ROPiT / SMYRNA cds used to Auckland, New Zealand via Port Said and Colombo (an extraordinary destination), 1898 similar franking from Constantinople to Finland etc. (21 items).
