1921/26: De La Rue, the Master Die for the George V head-plate: two pulls from the Plate engraved on cream wove paper (90 x 87 mm.), printed in deep black. Some creasing not detracting from the appearance, and of course, not necessarily for Cayman Islands as this head-plate was used for many British Colonial countries. However, 'Besançon' placed this Die Proof prior to the Cayman 1922 issue and thus we offer the Proof under this heading.
