    1640 (May 18): Francesco Erizzo (1566 – 1646) the 98th Doge of Venice (1631-1646), Large and intact vellum document with calligraphic title: FRANCISCUS ERIZZO DEI GRA DUX VENETIAR with 21 text lines, dated MDCXXXX, May 18 and two line archive note dated  '24 Augusti 1640' and complete lead seal attached. to Family Selvatico. Francesco Erizzo, born into a patrician family from Istria, was elected as Doge of Venice in the midst of the Italian plague of 1629–1631, which killed one third of the population of Venice, including Erizzo's predecessor Nicolò Contarini.

    1723: Alvise III Sebastiano Mocenigo (1662–1732) the 112th Doge of Venice (1722 to 1732). Vellum manuscript. Fine and complete parchment document with official lead seal "ALVISIUS MOCENICO DEI GR(ATI)A D(UX) VENETIA (RUM) ET C(etera) with attached Notary act and the debts/credits list to the Family Selvatico. Born into one of the most important families (the House of Mocenigo) of the Venetian aristocracy, he was a famous Doge of the Republic of Venice in the 18th century, when the power of Venice started to decline. He dedicated his political life to defending Venetian possessions in the Balkans from the Ottoman Empire. When the second Ottoman siege of Corfu occurred in 1716, he was mainly responsible for strengthening Venetian fortifications that successfully resisted the attack.

Cert. E. Diena (1978) Longhi Aerofilia italiana 41 VRd = € 3'000.rnNote: ​The Caproni Campini N.1, also known as the C.C.2, was an experimental jet aircraft built in the 1930s by Italian aircraft manufacturer Caproni. The N.1 first flew in 1940 and was briefly regarded as the first successful jet-powered aircraft in history, before news emerged of the German Heinkel He 178's first flight a year earlier. To produce this aircraft, which was officially designated as the N.1, Campini formed an arrangement with the larger Caproni aviation manufacturer. On 27 August 1940, the maiden flight of the N.1 occurred at Caproni facility in Taliedo, outside of Milan, flown by renowned test pilot Mario de Bernardi. On 30 November 1941, the second prototype was flown by pilot De Bernardi and engineer Giovanni Pedace from Milan's Linate Airport to Rome's Guidonia Airport, in a highly publicised event that included a fly-past over Rome and a reception with Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini.

    1828/1971: Collection Italy and areas, including the Vatican and San Marino, beginning with prephilatelic covers including "ZARA" and a range of classic duplicates including a slightly faded 1852 1 Scudo (Mi 11) signed Köhler . The collection's main strength lies in the 1930-40s issues from the Vatican and San Marino including the Vatican "Centenary of the first stamp" miniature sheet mint and the 1933 definitive set unmounted mint. San Marino begins with the 1877 series with 2c, 10c, and 40c in mint, also containing a good range of miniature sheets, including Mi 4A and 4B. The covers of Italy bear a range of censor marks from both wars, together with some postmark interest. All housed in four large albums.

    Italian occupation Venezia Giulia 1919: Document dated January 17, 1919 bearing Austrian definitive 10 k. dark violet with three line handstamp overprint "Regno d'Italia / Venezia Giulia / 3.
