    1894: ¼ g. green in mint block of four and single, all overprinted "Specimen" in black, 1894 Proofs (6) in a variety of colours all overprinted "Specimen" in black or violet; 1896 Postal Stationery Essays (3) with two overprinted "Specimen" in red and a card without the head plate (also an Essay); 1911 Dire Daoua provisional set used, Interpostal Seals from the Egyptian P.O. in Massawa in green (9) or red (2), an interesting assembly.

    1894: The first issue, from ½ g. to 16 g. in complete mint sheets of 150 stamps, separated by vertical and horizontal gutters into 6 panes of 25 stamps (5 x 5), all showing "4" in the vertical gutter indicating date of printing (three times on the sheet) and with sheet numbers at lower right corner. Some ageing and splitting but an extraordinary lot, with original gum, the sole surviving complete sheets recorded Mi = EUR 3'000+.

    1894/1911: Forgeries collection, from first issue Fournier (including a sheet of 16 ¼ g. green, 1 g. blue and 4 g. lilac brown) types through to more technically proficient 1911 Dirre Dawa set on cover, a mite haphazardly arranged on leaves but much of interest, faked cover with 1 g. blue cut-out from the 'Province' block, many hundreds of stamps and one or two 'Michel' inspired covers. A marvellous Exhibit in itself.

    1901/08: Philatelic covers (10) prepared by the Postmaster Michel, all are locally addressed bearing complete sets and cancelled by the Adis Abeba datestamp in black: July-Oct 1901 issue on cover tied by Adis Abeba cds (22.XII.01), April 1902 issue (23.IV.02), January 1903 issue (22.II.04), January 1905 issue (23.IV.05), July 1906 issue on cover (24.VI.06), July 1907 issue on cover (24.VII.07), Nov 1908 issue (24.XI.07), Postage Due issue of July 1906 (24.VI.06), Postage Due issue of July 1907 (23.VII.07), Postage Due issue of 1908 (24.IX.08). A scarce group.
