    1859 (Feb 10): Great Britain 1857 1 d. red, perf. 14, two examples, one applied slightly off the edge of the cover, used with 4 d. rose in a horizontal strip of three, first stamp with clipped corner, all tied to 1859 cover endorsed 'Per Royal Mail Steamer' from Kingstown to the Duke of Polignac in Paris by five strikes of the "A10" obliterator in black. Reverse with single ring ST. VINCENT cds (Feb 10), London transit cds (March 4) where struck with two line INSUFFICIENTLY / STAMPED in black but deleted in manuscript and by Calais transit cds as fully paid.     1858 (June 23): Great Britain 1857 1 d. red, perf. 14 and 6 d. lilac used on 1858 cover endorsed 'Per Royal Mail Steam Packet' from Kingstown to the Duke of Polignac in Paris via London, each tied by "A10" obliterators in black. On arrival the cover was readdressed to the Duke in Ems with France 1853 40 c. orange tied by dotted lozenge and backstamped London (July 17) in blue, Paris (July 18), Mainz (July 19) and Bad Ems (July 20) in black.     1859 (June 11): Great Britain 1856 6 d. lilac, a fine example used on 1859 entire letter endorsed 'Packet' from Carriacou island to Chester, tied by bold strike of "A10" obliterator in black with reverse showing single ring ST. VINCENT cds (June 21) in black. 'Paid / London' cds in red on front (July 19) and readdressed on arrival in Chester to Warrington with "d1" charge marking at left in black. Addressed to a member of the Tarleton family (there is still a bay named after them on Carriacou Island), a rare and fine entire.rnrnrn
