Rudall' to Teneriffe, Canary Islands, struck on despatch with circular CORREOS DE VENEZUELA / LA GUAYRA / FRANCA in red; with annotation of contents "$100 of gold" and endorsed on arrival at Forwarding Agent LE BRUN & DAVIDSON / TENERIFFE with oval cachet in black on reverse; charged for insurance at 5% on despatch "5 rs. A fine and extremely rare entire Scott = $ 3'000.rnrnNote: Scott lists this stamp as 'redrawn', however it is more correctly termed as an unauthorised Postal Forgery whether printed in yellow or orange.
