    1855: London printing 2 d. carmine, a used horizontal strip of three on 1855 cover from Adelaide to Grahams Town, Cape of Good Hope endorsed 'via Melbourne' (deleted), tied by barred numeral '1' obliterators in black with 'Port Adelaide / South Australia' datestamp at left (Oct 3). Reverse with part of top flap missing but with complete 'Cape Town / Cape of Good Hope' cds (Feb 2) struck in red. The adhesives with creasing and defective at top but rare. Cert. BPA (2019).

    1886: 'Postage & Revenue', the complete set of fifteen values from 2 s. 6 d. mauve to £ 20 claret (excl. the £ 5 brown issued in 1896), wmk. Crown over SA upright, all in unused horizontal strips of four, overprinted SPECIMEN (Type D15) in black. The £ 1 blue and £ 2 brown with some shaved perforations, the £ 1 also with one stamp with closed tear; however a set of great scarcity, especially so in multiples.

    1892: Printed form 'Reprints and Specimens / South Australian Postage and Revenue Stamps / With the Date of Issue' featuring South Australia issues arranged by face value with 47 Postage Stamps from 1855 through to 1894 including unissued 1855/59 1 s. violet, most with REPRINT horizontally struck in black, but twelve stamps with SPECIMEN in black. Folded in to quarto and a few age spots etc. but a scarce and most interesting insight into how these stamps were prepared for sale.

    1901: Federation Commemorative Set of 19 values, current De La Rue issues with twelve values from ½ d. to 2 s. carmine and 1886/96 'Postage & Revenue' 2 s. 6 d. violet, 5 s. rose-pink, 10 s. green, 15 s. brownish yellow and £ 1 blue, all cancelled by 'Adelaide' (March 10, 1901) c.t.o. datestamps or by double ring 'Adelaide - SA' datestamps, struck for presentation for the commemoration when each Postal Authority sent to each member State a presentation set of stamps currently in use. Rare and fine.
