    1859 (April 23): 4 d. dull rose, wmk. Star on white wove paper, an unused example of this iconic stamp, huge margins on three sides and showing portion of adjoining stamp at right, ample margin at top; of vibrant true colour, fresh and very fine with large part original gum. An extraordinary example of one of the rarest of all unused basic issued stamps of the British Commonwealth. A delightful stamp for the philatelic connoisseur: without doubt the finest of the very few examples recorded. Cert. Again re-addressed to Watford with both London and Watford datestamp (July 24).
