1857: Registered cover to Santander struck with two line manuscript filled "Certificacion à Bogotá / Salio en (29) de (Mayo de 1859)" struck in blue and oval BOGOTA / FRANCA of despatch with cover surrounded by '0' markings, charged 60 c. in blue, internally receipted on arrival; matched with similar 1859 cover to Cartagena with same markings except rated '15' and the envelope surround struck with '8' numerals to demonstrate registration. 1866: 10 c. lilac, a four margin example used on 1867 cover to Paris tied by oval BOGOTA handstamp in black. Carried on the Paquebot 'Washington' with circular LIGNE - A / PAQ. FR. * No. 2 datestamp (April 5, month inverted) in black on front (Salles fig. 1401). Reverse with 'Ligne A' cds (April 14) and Paris arrival cds (April 28) where charged '10' décimes due.
