    (Ile de la) Reunion 1937 (Jan 26): First Flight registered cover to France franked by 1933 Musée 1 fr. 25 c. and very scarce 1937 'Roland Garros' Airmail 50 c. red in a vertical pair, lower stamp without overprint, some minor aging around perfs., tied by "Premiére liason aèropostale / Réunion-France / sans surtaxe / Equipage: Laurent-Touge-Lénier" Flight cachet in black and by 'Saint Denis / Reunion' cds (Jan 26). Reverse with 'Noisy-Le-Sec' arrival cds (Feb 12) in black. A very rare pair on letter Maury = € 3'750.

    1937 (Jan 25): First Flight registered cover to France franked by very scarce 1937 'Roland Garros' Airmail 50 c. red in a superb block of four, neatly cancelled by 'Saint Denis / Reunion' cds (Jan 25), repeated strike alongside with "Premiére liason aèropostale / Réunion-France / sans surtaxe / Equipage: Laurent-Touge-Lénier" Flight cachet in black below. Reverse with Paris (Feb 12) arrival cds. Some imperfections to envelope but a very rare cover. Cert. Calves (1987) Maury/Yvert = € 1'200 off cover.
