1840/60c.: Group of pre-philatelic covers to or from Bulgarian Ottoman Offices, with 1859 c. cover showing fair RUSTCHUK negative seal handstamp in brown, 1860 entire from Tirnovo with fair despatch seal and registration handstamp, another with TIRNOVO negative seal in green with rectangular 'Important Correspondence' handstamp alongside, 1850 entire from Orchovitcha to Tsarigrad with Tirnovo negative seal on reverse and a similar entire to Sarajevo sent registered at 11 pi. rate, 1855 entire to Sarajevo with superb FILIBE negative seal in green, 1846 entire from Tirnovo and 1855 entire from Zagra each cancelled on arrival in Constantinople.
